The event takes place on Sunday 30^th May 2027 and will start at 10am prompt with elites 09:55 (kids’ race 9:30).

Location: the Coastal park near the Leas Lift on the promenade CT20 1PR – no car parking is available on race day.

Useful Information

Refreshments are available at the race start, as well as refreshments, sports massage and a shop for all your running requirements. Parking facilities will be available at the Folkestone Harbour or within the town, and you will need to walk to the start which will be situated with the other facilities near the eastern entrance of the Coastal Park, near the bottom of the Leas Cliff Lift. Full instructions will be provided once you have registered. No headphones permitted.

ABOUT FOLKESTONE

The Route

The 10 kilometre run will start from Folkestone seafront, head towards Hythe and then return, whilst taking in the beautiful coastal scenery that the area has to offer. This is a flat promenade route, traffic free and a great race for those who are relatively new to running, but also for those more experienced runners looking for a personal best. The event will be supporting local and international charitable causes, and participants are encouraged to run for their chosen charity. We have made this process very easy – once you’ve registered we can provide you with a sponsorship form to assist local charities or one of your choice.

HOW TO ENTER

The race will commence at the eastern entrance of the coastal park on the promenade. At this area will be the new registration area and facilities within the carpark which is closed for our use. This is near to the bottom of the Leas Cliff Lift. CT20 1PR. Plenty of signs will direct you to this area and do park within the harbour or Leas Cliff Hall walk up to the start, which will be at 10:00 prompt – don’t be late!

There will be a children’s race for under 15s which is held shortly before the main race at 9:30am prompt (approx 600 meters). There is a wide range of prizes and we encourage corporate teams to enter, as it’s a great opportunity to engage with employees and get them involved not only in fitness but perhaps raise some money for your chosen causes.
